My interdisciplinary work plays around with the idea of community and the power of bringing people together through shared experiences. It is centred around a small community theatre in rural Cork, which in the area serves as a hub for connection. Through regular live events bringing together people from all aspects of the local residence. Through this space, my work highlights the richness of communal engagement and the meaningful impact that collective participation can have on a community. While capturing the atmosphere, I use many different techniques to bring together images, intertwining people, text and visual elements together.
